Relationships between instruments

How each instrument moves relative to the others: how closely they track each other, which one moves more, and when one departs from what its own history describes. Statistical context for understanding the market — never buy or sell signals.

Correlation between instruments Whether two instruments move together, in opposite directions, or with no relation — with the observations behind each number.
Relative volatility Which of the two moves more, and by how many times. It's a different question from whether they move together.
Divergence When an instrument moved differently from what its historical relationship with another describes, measured in deviations.
Correlation by session How that relationship changes within the time window where the instrument actually moves.
Intermarket context Where the VIX and the dollar index stand relative to their own history.
Two-instrument comparison Pick any pair and look at it in detail, with its confidence interval.

Everything here is statistics on each instrument's past behavior: it isn't advice or signals, and it doesn't say what to trade or when.
